Andy Hewitt has held senior contracts, commercial and project management positions with contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. This included many years operating his own consultancy practice, both in the UK and in the Middle East. He often contributes articles to industry publications and regularly presents at conferences and seminars.
Andy is the author of six industry books including the internationally acclaimed Construction Claims & Responses: effective writing & presentation now in its third edition.
Andy’s experience has led him to specialise in contractual issues, claims and dispute management as both a consultant and as a teacher and trainer. To this end, Andy developed and launched Claims Class in 2012. He continues to grow the portfolio of workshops and e-courses on offer to students on an international basis.
In his spare time, Andy is an avid motorcyclist and family man, splitting his time between homes in Europe and the Middle East.
